If you ever hear your air conditioner turning on and off every couple of minutes, you have a pretty serious problem. That behavior is called short cycling, and it dramatically increases the wear and tear on the system.
We’re moving out of spring and into summer, which means that you’re probably using your air conditioner more and more often to keep cool. Added usage means more stress on the system, which means greater likelihood for things to go wrong.
